I’ll dim the lights and we’ll gracefully dance the space from the door to the bed. Pulling ourselves out of our clothes, and onto the mattress with pillows and blankets surrounding our bodies. We’ll watch as the rain gently falls onto the window outside, listening to the punctuated silence, and breathe in the smell of wet earth as well as each other. There will be movies and games, talking and cuddling; But most importantly, there will be solicitude in being this close to one another.
I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but I see that you are unarmed.
And maybe I am a little selfish but, I don’t want to share you.
