Supportive parents & friends are a gift.
I have very supportive parents in terms of what I do with my life. I could tell them I want to be a professional dog-show judge and they would just say “if it’s what you’re most passionate about, go for it”. Two people I know just got told they can’t be together by their parents because they’re gay. After being grounded, thrown out, and completely disowned then...
